
Gamescom – Cologne Summer 2018
Gamescom 2018 provided me with the opportunity so hear from various Indie developers from all over the world as well as see some exhibitions from some AAA developers . Furthermore, it was my first experience of interacting with Video Games as someone looking to break into the industry rather than just a consumer.

EGX Rezzed – Tobacco Dock Spring 2019
EGX Rezzed was an eye opening opportunity as it allowed me to speak to Indie developers that were much more local. Hearing their stories and how they found success was inspiration to further dedicate myself to my education. Furthermore, speaking to these smaller studio employees gave me insight into the life of someone in the gaming industry.

Vertex – London Olympia Winter 2020
This event gave me the opportunity to talk to software developers relating to the creative media industry. For example, I spoke to representatives from INSYDIUM who created X-Particles; a particle system software for 3D animation. I also spoke to a representative of Foundry who developed 3D modelling software MODO; a software used in VFX by companies such as Framestore on projects like MARVEL’s Avengers and HBO’s His Dark Materials.
